Major finance company (subsidiary of automobile company) is searching for:

Deputy Chief Accountant

Responsibilities:

* Internal Control- compute and record accruals (e.g., tax, legal, and accounting), reconcile intercompany accounts
* Coordination with EFU– assist Accounting Manager in US GAAP reporting, analyze and resolve questions raised by EFU regarding financial data, update EFU regarding parameter table changes needed (e.g., VAT rate), communicate effectively with EFU
* HR and Payroll internal control – after 3 month probation period check payroll calculation, work and insert Personal Data into People soft
* Tax Reporting– In case of absence of General Accountant prepare and analyze required tax documents, submit documents to tax advisors, review tax reports prepared by tax advisors, communicate effectively with tax advisors
* VAT Reporting–In case of absence of General Accountant to be able to reconcile GL VAT accounts against invoices and other documentation, complete VAT return and send to authorities, communicate effectively with Tax authorities
* Statutory Reporting- prepare statutory financial statements, adjust statements to create trade financial statements, communicate effectively with authorities
* Managing: In case of absence of Accounting Manager to be able participate conference calls, negotiating, manage Accounting department and take decisions

Requirements:

* High education (accounting/finance/economist)
* Prior experience as auditor in PWC or KPMG
* Advanced PC abilities (e.g., spreadsheets, macros, etc.)Great knowledge of Excel
* Experience with local law and tax law
* Knowledge both US GAAP and RAS
* English: intermediate
